Neesham plea on Aborigines
Former Fremantle coach Gerard Neesham has urged AFL clubs to keep the faith with indigenous players, predicting an explosion of Aboriginal talent in the league. Neesham, who runs an Aboriginal football academy in Perth, said AFL clubs had to ensure indigenous players were equipped with life skills when drafting them, just as they had to assess their football talents.
