SMALL MIDFIELDERS

2. Alex Gilmour (Tassie Mariners) 29.06.86 180 cm. 68 kg. Medium-sized utility with footy smarts. Good one-on-one and capable of finding a lot of the footy. Missed the National AFL U/18 Championships due to injury, but has since been impressive with Tasmania in the VFL. From Wynyard FC.
3. Luke Herrington (Dandenong Stingrays) 04.01.86 177 cm. 74 kg. Small, inside midfielder/forward. Goal kicker who reads the play very well and is a great mark for his size. Kicked 17 goals at this year's National AFL U/18 Championships. Named Vic Metro's most valuable player of the championships, and won all-Australian honours. From Crib Point FC.
4. Harry Miller (Port Adelaide Magpies) 11.06.85 174 cm. 75 kg. Small, outside midfielder/forward with a great leap. Has good speed and knows where the goals are. SA U/18 representative this year. From Mallee Park FC.

11. Adam Bentick (Calder Cannons) 13.06.85 184 cm. 79 kg. Medium, inside midfielder who has great vision and awareness, as well as a work ethic to match. Good user of the ball, and always contributes a high number of tackles and one 'per centres' to the team effort. Vic Metro representative in 2003. From St Bernards FC.
12. Adam Cooney (West Adelaide) 30.09.85 186 cm. 81 kg. Medium, inside midfielder who can play back or forward and is capable of kicking goals. Exciting, dashing type who won McCallum Medal as the SANFL's U/17 B & F in 2002. Has balance and skill and was a member of the 2002 AIS-AFL Academy. All-Australian U/18 in 2002 and 2003. 35. Jake Furfaro (Mt. Gravatt) 04.02.85 185 cm 87 kg Strong, medium, defender, who is an excellent kick and has good hands in a marking contest. Plays aggressive football and has leadership qualities. Winner of the Harrison Medal for best Division Two player at the National AFL U/18 Championships. All-Australian U/18 in 2003.
36. Brett Jones (Claremont) 06.02.82 187 cm 80 kg Medium, inside defender who can go forward if needed. Aggressive, hard at it type who is in his first year at Claremont after playing amateurs last year. Is also a gifted cricketer, playing for the WA 2nd XI last year.
